MSP does not cover counselling. Many extended health plans now cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor or Registered Social Worker. You can check your plan information, or talk to your Human Resources Department.

Other third party billing options include ICBC, WorkSafe BC, Crime Victims Assistance, private insurance programs, numerous Federal and Provincial Government referred programs and more.
