We have a dedicated group of riders working hard at their skills and connection with the horses. I am constantly impressed by their enthusiasm and openness to think creatively and to put their horses first. I am proud to be watching my students helping with the training of young horses, the schooling of lesson horses, and working hard at having fun! It is exciting to watch them become well-rounded, competent horse people. Special thanks are in order to my older teenaged students who contribute so much to the atmosphere of the barn and the well being of the horses. You guys are awesome! If you are interested in spring break camps, we regularly have day camps for new riders and beginner/intermediate students. There is also a wide variety of summer camps throughout July and August, including camps and activities for advanced riders. We are happy to say that our dear gelding Nero has returned to Generation Farms. He has mentored many young (and young at heart) people in both riding and life skills. We are happy to be providing him a home in his later years. Generation Farms is at capacity for horses and has safe school horses for a variety of riding and horsemanship levels. I welcome riders from young childhood to late adulthood. I continue to welcome riders with their own horses to trailer or ride in for lessons. I also teach some lessons off-site. I thoroughly enjoy both beginner riders who need correct basics, safety, and a positive learning environment as well as more advanced riders who are interested in becoming effective, feeling, educated riders in jumping and/or dressage. I love teaching feel, timing and correct skills to beginners and bringing advanced technique, education and connection to advanced riders. The well-being of the horse is always a top priority in lessons and in life. Working in the Horse Wisdom for Humans programs continues to be rewarding and enjoyable. We offer programs for children, youth and adults, including remedial work for riders dealing with fear. Please feel free to investigate the Horse Wisdom section of the website for more information.
