Most workshops are suited for participants with no horse experience.
Workshop fees generally include lunch or snacks and materials.
Spaces for workshops can be held with a $100 non refundable deposit; $500 deposit for Reflection of the Horse. Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard by calling the office at 250 754 7703, or cheques can be mailed to the office address at #203 1801 Bowen Road, Nanaimo BC V9S 1H1.
Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy Sessions and HorseEmPower Child and Youth Care sessions are conducted on a regular basis and can be booked by calling the office at 250 754-7703 or contacting by email.

TTTouch Clinic with Mandy Pretty.
Mandy Pretty from the Icelandic Horse Farm in Vernon will be coming to Generation Farms in Nanaimo for a 3 day TTEAM-Connect Riding Clinic. Mandy will also be staying for a 4th day (Monday May 16) for optional individual lessons and consultations.
Get in TTOUCH with your horse - connecting riders with their horses: "Participants will come away with an increased understanding and eye for observation, tension patterns and posture, tools for improving the freedom of movement in their own body, as well as their horse's, as well as a new understanding of equine behavior, from a practical, empathetic, and label-less perspective."

Reflection of the Horse; Professional Training in Integrative Equine Facilitated Wellness..
This is a two week professional training for mental health/education professionals and equine professionals. It is for those interested in learning Integrative to Equine Facilitated Wellness, the approach that we have developed here at Generation Farms. Both weeks are included in the program. Previous exposure to equine facilitated work is strongly recommended before attending this training. Mental health/education professionals need to have some horse experience.
Trainers: Deborah Marshall MA RCC; and Emily Pelletier EC Coach, MA; as well as interns from our previous trainings.
We have offered professional training since 2005. Now included in the training is the extensive manual developed by Emily Pelletier as the final requirement for her MA in Counselling Psychology with a specialty in Equine Assisted Mental Health.
Dates: July 10 to 15 and August 15 to 20, 2011. There is a free day for integration mid week both weeks. See attached flyer for more information

Horses have been known for their strength, beauty and performance. Discover how the true power of the horse is their ability to bring us back to ourselves. Go out of your mind and into your senses. This workshop will use the core concepts of the Equine Facilitated Wellness program at Generation Farms to help you reconnect with your senses and yourself, through the true power of the horse.

Experience the Epona Approach with Advanced Epona Facilitator Deborah Marshall. This workshop will cover the basic Epona concepts as developed by Linda Kohanov, author of Tao of Equus, Riding Between the Worlds and Way of the Horse. Suited to people with or without horse experience.
